Abigail Adams Abigail Adams was appointed by the Massachusetts colony General court to question other Massachusetts women and discover whether they were loyal patriots or Tories.
John Adams - in 1775, he nominated Washington to be commander-in-chief on the colonial armies. Adams was a very active member of congress, he was engaged by as many as ninety committees and chaired twenty-five during the second Continental Congress. In May of 1776, he offered a resolution that amounted to a declaration of independence from Gr. Britain.
Wentworth Cheswell - Wentworth was a grandson of a black slave Richard Cheswell who gained his freedom in 1717 and was the first slave to be a property owner in New Hampshire. In 1763, Wentworth attended the Dummer Academy, which was located thirty miles away from his home of Newmarket in Byfield, Massachusetts. He beacame a schoolmaster and marry Mary Davis, also one of the five men elected to oversee the school. Warned of British attacks also he give the name to the state of New Hampsire. James Armistead - James he was born into slavery and he gain trust of General Cornwallis and Benedict Arolnd providing information that allowed American forces to prevail at the battle of Yorktwon,he was just a spy for the colonist and had freedom in 1787.
Benjamin Franklin - organized the Untied States first leanding library and volunteer fire department. Help draft the Declaration of Indep. and the U.S. Constitution, negotated the 1783 treaty of paris which in the Revolutionary War.
Bernardo de Galvez-
was the governer of the spanish colony. He help the pratriots by keeping British armies and supplies out of the mississippi river.
Cripus Attucks- When British opened fire Attucks was the first of the five men killed in the Boston Massacre
King George III- was one of the longest reiging British Monarchs. He oversaw the conquest of an empire in the Seven Years War and the loss of the American Colonies in the War of Indep.

Marquis de Lafayeette- learned the struggle of the Americans in their endeavor to secure their independence he resolved to come to the colonies to aid them in their efforts as a volunteers

He communicated the ideas of the Revolution to common farmers as easily as to intellectuals, creating prose that stirred the hearts of the fledgling United States.
